Living dossiers

An Active dossier covers a development that may change in a meaningful way. New evidence, product behavior, pricing, policy or availability can become a proposed update. The existing public version remains unchanged until a Human reviews and explicitly publishes the new version.

Change notes

A substantial update can carry a short public note explaining what changed and when. Previous versions remain in the editorial history. Change notes are intended to orient readers, not turn the page into a line-by-line evidence ledger.

Factual corrections

A verified factual error is corrected promptly. If the correction changes the meaning or a decision a reader might make, it should be visible through a correction or update note. BTN does not quietly rewrite a consequential error as though it never appeared.

Minor edits

Spelling, punctuation, typography, formatting and broken-link repairs may be made without a prominent note when they do not alter the substance of the dossier. Clarifying a sentence may also be minor when it preserves the original meaning.
