Codex 0.149.0 ships asynchronous user messaging so agents can keep working after questions

Codex 0.149.0 includes the async-message tool, delivery metadata and removal of the client-side feature gate that BTN previously tracked only on main. Parallel human-agent work is now in a stable client, but late replies can still race with decisions and model capability metadata remains the final exposure gate.

LinkedIn Ads API adds a 1,000-segment audience cap as Legacy Geo shuts down August 31

Audience-management systems can now fail with `SEGMENT_LIMIT_EXCEEDED`, while old geography identifiers begin returning invalid-field errors after August 31. LinkedIn also opened the Matched Audiences API to applications from qualified developers, increasing the importance of handling these limits correctly.

GitHub’s OAuth apps get short-lived tokens, multiple callbacks — and a wildcard setting worth auditing

GitHub OAuth apps can now use eight-hour access tokens with rotating refresh tokens, register up to 10 callback URLs, and explicitly control wildcard callback matching. New apps default to expiring tokens, while existing single-callback apps should review a legacy wildcard setting GitHub has now made visible.

NVIDIA Groq 3 LPX enters full production with 3,431-token/s long-context inference

Groq 3 LPX is moving from architecture announcement to manufactured infrastructure. Artificial Analysis measured about 3,400 output tokens/s at both 10K and 100K context on an NVIDIA-hosted private endpoint, but the single-concurrency benchmark does not yet establish public-cloud price, multi-tenant throughput or end-to-end agent speed.

Mixpanel AI can now investigate why a product metric changed and return the result as a working Board

Product teams can launch a root-cause investigation from an Insights report, an alert or Mixpanel Agent instead of manually trying breakdown after breakdown. The result is operationally useful, but it remains an automated statistical diagnosis rather than proof of causation.

GLM-5.3-Flash turns the anonymous Ox Alpha trial into an open-weight multimodal coding model

GLM-5.3-Flash combines open weights, multimodal coding/agent capability and an 18B-active sparse architecture with a large anonymous pre-launch trial. Z.ai has already issued a chat-template correction for early downloads, showing that day-one self-hosted deployments need artifact-level validation as well as model benchmarking.

Amazon Aurora Serverless gets faster burst scaling

Aurora Serverless can now add roughly 12 ACUs in the first second of a scale-up event on platform versions 3 and 4. The change is automatic and is most useful for bursty SaaS, API, batch and agent workloads, but it does not remove the separate resume delay when a database has scaled all the way to zero.
