incident.io has made autonomous incident investigations generally available

Investigations has crossed from preview into production and incident.io now reports a large latency improvement in its own measured workflow. The agent continuously reassesses evidence and can hand remediation to coding agents, but the new speed and accuracy figures remain vendor-produced rather than independent.

ZCode uploaded local repositories without consent — then Z.ai open-sourced the client after the backlash

The useful lesson is broader than one coding assistant: repository indexing can quietly become a data-export boundary. ZCode’s response improves inspectability going forward, but builders using AI coding tools still need to know exactly which indexing, wiki and memory features send source code or Git metadata off-device.

Cloudflare Browser Run can now hard-limit agent sessions to approved hostnames

The useful change is containment rather than another browser-agent feature. Teams can let an agent operate a real browser while constraining its HTTP and HTTPS reach to the site and dependencies the task actually needs, reducing the blast radius of prompt injection, bad tool decisions or untrusted page content.

GitHub Spark is shutting down August 31 — export code now and replace broken `llm()` calls

GitHub Spark stops being available to existing users on August 31, 2026. Deployed apps are meant to keep running, but owners should export code to a repository now; Spark apps using `llm()` need a separate inference provider because the underlying GitHub Models service retired July 30.

Cloudflare Workers replaces 3MB and 10MB compressed bundle caps with one 64MiB uncompressed limit

The change makes heavier frameworks and dependency trees deployable to Workers without plan-specific compressed-size ceilings, but it also changes what builders need to measure: the operative limit is now uncompressed Total Upload rather than the gzip number they may have optimized around.

Cloudflare Workers now enables Node.js compatibility by default for new compatibility dates

Cloudflare has inverted a long-standing Workers assumption: Node.js compatibility is now on by default for current compatibility dates. That reduces setup friction for many npm packages, but it also means developers need to understand compatibility-date boundaries, partial APIs and explicit opt-out flags.

Supabase fixes broken client trace propagation and now preserves trace IDs even for unsampled requests

supabase-js 2.112.3 materially improves the tracing rollout BTN covered earlier: unsampled requests now still carry traceparent for backend log correlation, tracing misconfiguration produces warnings, and browser Edge Function calls need current CORS headers to admit W3C trace context.
