HIPAA support moves Laravel Cloud into a class of regulated workloads that shared application hosting could not safely claim. Private Cloud supplies dedicated tenancy, encryption, SSO/SAML, backups and a BAA path, while application-level access control, audit logging and PHI handling remain the developer’s responsibility.
The new AWS–Azure pairing is less about raw bandwidth than an operational boundary shift: each cloud provider now manages its side of the private cross-cloud connection, with prebuilt capacity and native provisioning instead of a bespoke interconnect stack.

The interesting part is not another AI scanner. Cloudflare is connecting source-code evidence to what is actually deployed and being attacked at the edge, validating findings outside the model, then preparing both a code patch and, where appropriate, a narrowly scoped WAF mitigation for customer review.
Cloudflare’s first half-year DDoS report records 935 network-layer attacks above 1 Tbps and a 519% Q1-to-Q2 increase, but says 96.62% of attacks stayed below 500 Mbps and 90.60% ended within 10 minutes. The figures are Cloudflare-network telemetry, not a neutral census of the internet.
The limits themselves were already documented; the material change is enforcement. Free-tier D1 workloads that previously relied on soft overage behavior now need query-cost awareness, indexes and a plan for temporary failures or paid migration.
Cloud Run instances sit between autoscaling serverless services and a small VM. They run one individually addressable container continuously, can be stopped and restarted, and use shared CPU economics; Google’s launch example prices 1 vCPU plus 1 GiB running for 30 days at $5.70.
The migration turns integration identity from an implicit platform detail into an operational dependency. Teams may need new run-as accounts and `Service Account User` grants not only for runtimes but also for editors, publishers, approvers and deployment automation.
Replit’s August 2026 Cloud pricing changes materially lower several production costs: autoscale compute falls from $3.20 to $0.60 per million compute units and database storage from $1.50 to $0.35 per GiB-month. The details matter because not every SKU moved down.
Cloud Storage project deletion no longer necessarily destroys every soft-deleted bucket immediately. Google’s August 17 change makes bucket retention part of project-recovery behavior, affecting disaster recovery, teardown assumptions and ongoing storage cost.
