Private ingress joins existing private egress for Scaleway Serverless Containers. The new option can isolate services inside a VPC, but private DNS, TLS, authentication, cold-start and network-scope constraints still matter.
Aurora Serverless can now add roughly 12 ACUs in the first second of a scale-up event on platform versions 3 and 4. The change is automatic and is most useful for bursty SaaS, API, batch and agent workloads, but it does not remove the separate resume delay when a database has scaled all the way to zero.
Python 3.15.1 supersedes the 3.15.0 launch with an urgent certificate-trust update. New installers alone do not update existing virtualenvs: update pip, uv and certifi where applicable.
The Hyperdrive integration was the practical database unlock; the larger September 21 change is that Python Workers themselves are now GA. Cloudflare is explicitly positioning Python as a production language on Workers, with native platform bindings and framework support rather than an experimental compatibility layer.
AWS is changing how Lambda introduces managed runtimes: Node.js 26 and Python 3.15 are available in public preview before GA, with normal runtime identifiers that automatically graduate when the runtimes become production-ready.
Ada has added code tools that run a restricted Python subset inside agent conversations. They can transform API responses, perform deterministic calculations and call allowlisted domains, while MCP-authored changes can be staged and reviewed before promotion.
The change makes heavier frameworks and dependency trees deployable to Workers without plan-specific compressed-size ceilings, but it also changes what builders need to measure: the operative limit is now uncompressed Total Upload rather than the gzip number they may have optimized around.
SnapStart previously covered only selected managed runtimes; extending it to container images changes the latency-versus-packaging trade-off for teams shipping large dependencies or standard container bases, with regional exclusions and runtime-specific guidance still applying.
Cloud Run instances sit between autoscaling serverless services and a small VM. They run one individually addressable container continuously, can be stopped and restarted, and use shared CPU economics; Google’s launch example prices 1 vCPU plus 1 GiB running for 30 days at $5.70.
AWS has added a `REFERENCE` mode for Lambda deployment packages. It eliminates duplicate managed copies, raises the default managed-storage quota to 300GB, and gives teams direct control over encryption, lifecycle and audit policy—but a deleted or inaccessible source object can now make a function inactive.
Google's agent-accessible data toolkit has moved beyond its August launch: GA expands support to Bigtable, BigQuery Graph and Spark, with IDE/CLI integration, IAM enforcement and no separate kit fee. Underlying Google Cloud usage still costs money.
Agent Identity is moving from a standalone credential boundary into a mainstream serverless runtime. Cloud Run can now assign agent identities and register agents/MCP servers automatically, reducing custom discovery and identity plumbing while keeping the runtime integration itself in Preview.
The unusual risk is that Python startup hooks execute without an application importing LiteLLM, while the public source tag lacked the malicious files. Check the exact installed wheel or image digest, not just the repository.
Postmark’s new IP Allowlisting creates an extra sending boundary around API credentials: trusted infrastructure can send normally, while requests from outside configured ranges fail even if the token itself is valid. SMTP is not covered.
The price changes are not uniform: H100/H200 rise about 14%, B200 30%, B300 25% and GB300 about 11%. Builders using dedicated inference or training should re-run workload economics before assuming newer accelerators remain the cheapest route per completed task.
Vercel KMS gives Functions OIDC-authenticated access to managed RSA, ECDSA and EdDSA signing keys. Builders can scope grants by project and environment, constrain JWT claims with JSON Schema, rotate keys centrally and publish standard OIDC/JWKS metadata for verification outside Vercel.
DuckDB 2.0 is now stable, but older versions cannot read databases newly created in 2.0. Test a shadow deployment before upgrading and check extension/client compatibility.
Developers can now train and evaluate adapters through custom code while Together runs the GPU-heavy operations. The flexibility comes with B200-only support, a $100 credit threshold and ongoing charges for idle ready resources.
Reddit has moved the $1,000 Developer Platform app-porting bounty cutoff to November 30 in its live portal. The separate API migration deadlines remain January 12 and March 2027, with RSS ending November 13.
Google has turned its Ads API helper into a reusable agent plugin rather than a standalone project. For developers maintaining ad-tech integrations, the material change is that agent workflows can now ground themselves in current Protobuf schemas and execute validated reporting against real Google Ads accounts instead of relying only on model memory.
