Cloudflare’s new MCP controls turn TLS-inspected Gateway traffic into an inventory and policy surface for remote MCP use, while explicitly leaving local stdio, off-network and uninspected traffic outside visibility.
Agent Plugins 1.0 now has documented support across VS Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/Codex, Kiro and several open-source agents. That makes the format materially more useful for cross-client distribution, but portable components remain limited to Agent Skills and MCP servers while permissions, hooks, commands and host UX stay client-specific.
GitHub OAuth apps can now use eight-hour access tokens with rotating refresh tokens, register up to 10 callback URLs, and explicitly control wildcard callback matching. New apps default to expiring tokens, while existing single-callback apps should review a legacy wildcard setting GitHub has now made visible.
Cloudflare's logs are no longer an Enterprise-only export capability. Small sites can send 25GB a month to internal destinations and another 25GB externally before overage charges, but destination costs and separate Workers/OTel meters still matter.
The broad result survives a meaningful refresh of the living dataset: observable SaaS pricing is still not predominantly per-seat, but the exact model mix moved enough that the old 41% flat/platform figure should no longer be quoted as current.
The funding headline is less interesting than the workload signal: Supabase says agents now create most new databases on its platform, and it is buying Turso to handle higher-volume database creation for those workloads.
The material change is that model routing is no longer a single opaque optimization target. Developers can now tell Copilot whether to bias Auto toward lower cost, a middle ground or higher quality while GitHub still chooses a model prompt by prompt.
The limits themselves were already documented; the material change is enforcement. Free-tier D1 workloads that previously relied on soft overage behavior now need query-cost awareness, indexes and a plan for temporary failures or paid migration.
Google is tying licensed commercial content directly to an AI workspace: book ownership becomes the access control for grounded AI use. That gives publishers a new distribution path while keeping paid-source entitlement inside the AI experience.
YepAPI corrected a platform-wide flat-rate billing defect on August 22 and left historical undercharges untouched. On the same date it also increased selected flat-rate and volume prices, making the current cost step-up larger for some endpoints than the billing fix alone would suggest.
Sentence Transformers 6 now has both unified multi-vector inference and a documented end-to-end training workflow. A new project-authored benchmark shows fast domain adaptation on a single GPU, but the result is workload-specific and index costs remain high.
Groq 3 LPX is moving from architecture announcement to manufactured infrastructure. Artificial Analysis measured about 3,400 output tokens/s at both 10K and 100K context on an NVIDIA-hosted private endpoint, but the single-concurrency benchmark does not yet establish public-cloud price, multi-tenant throughput or end-to-end agent speed.
Clairic joins Clef as a specialised one-pass model on Workers AI; typed extraction has a different failure model from LLM-generated JSON, with vendor-only benchmarks and preview limitations.
Europe's new large-model contender is available to test through Mistral Studio, but its open-weight promise, pricing and benchmark claims need careful qualification.
A missed call can now become a billable Google Local Services Ads lead. Advertisers should review phone routing, business hours and the 30-day credit window rather than assuming only answered calls count.
The ruling does not decide whether AI Overviews hurt publisher traffic or whether reuse of publisher content is fair. It narrows one legal route for challenging that shift: these complaints did not turn the search-for-content relationship into an antitrust agreement, and the court said broader economic dislocation is a question for lawmakers.
Jev, CLM and GLiNER2.5-Decide made bounded software decisions look like a distinct model category. OpenAI is now validating the same architectural split with a Luna-powered API designed to answer finite questions rather than generate open-ended prose.
The useful shift is architectural: agent permissions no longer have to depend only on the model or harness behaving correctly. OpenShell puts policy enforcement in the execution environment, while Sentry is designed to keep watching from a separate hardware trust domain.
The change is separate from post-quantum TLS. DNSSEC signatures authenticate DNS records, and ML-DSA-44 makes them dramatically larger — 2,420 bytes per signature — while dual-signing with older algorithms creates a downgrade path unless resolvers enforce the post-quantum chain deliberately.
