Ahrefs is making a Google-derived AI demand estimate the default in Brand Radar

Ahrefs is standardising Brand Radar on an estimated AI-demand metric because major AI platforms do not publish prompt volume. The new number can improve relative weighting between prompts and platforms, but it remains a modelled proxy rather than a count of how many people actually asked an AI system a question.

ChatGPT Atlas can still surface blocked URLs unless publishers use noindex

Blocking OAI-SearchBot is not a complete removal signal for ChatGPT Atlas. OpenAI says a disallowed page can still appear as a link and title when the URL is learned elsewhere and judged relevant; publishers that want to suppress that result need a crawlable noindex directive, while GPTBot remains the separate training control.

Google wins dismissal of publisher antitrust suits over AI Overviews

The ruling does not decide whether AI Overviews hurt publisher traffic or whether reuse of publisher content is fair. It narrows one legal route for challenging that shift: these complaints did not turn the search-for-content relationship into an antitrust agreement, and the court said broader economic dislocation is a question for lawmakers.

GitHub Enterprise Server 3.22 brings Copilot CLI into disconnected and air-gapped environments

The technical-preview feature separates Copilot CLI from GitHub Cloud for core coding, shell and repository workflows, giving regulated and isolated environments a supported agent path while leaving cloud-dependent capabilities such as GitHub-hosted model selection and web search unavailable.

Mixpanel AI can now investigate why a product metric changed and return the result as a working Board

Product teams can launch a root-cause investigation from an Insights report, an alert or Mixpanel Agent instead of manually trying breakdown after breakdown. The result is operationally useful, but it remains an automated statistical diagnosis rather than proof of causation.
